Not sure what to say?

murphy was one of the nicest people I ever met artist or not artist,he was always at the local jersey shows with his wife Helen what a wonderful couple they were, always happy always made you feel good.i'm proud to have called him a friend.i'm proud to say I knew him since 1975.a gentleman that I think was born in a suit,i never saw him not have 1 on.even whenever I got up to his studio, other associates were dressed comfortable.1 time saw murph up there with frank chiaramonte, ron zodekevitch...

murphy was the 1st artist I ever met way back in 1975,i loed him up in the phone book and he invited me and 3 friends to his studio on a sunday and did us sketches and showed us his prince valiants on his wall and spoke to us about some of his favorites-fred schwaub and lou fine this was in 1975.i kept incontact with him over the years and even traded him 2 lou fine pgs. for the wonderful illustration of adam strange, hawkman and hawkgirl that appeared as a back cvr to cfa-apa dedicated to him...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
