Murphy Lee Henderson Sr.

Murphy Lee Henderson, Sr., 68, of Plainview, Arkansas, died Friday, September 17, 2004 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, Arkansas. The son of Fred and Janie Ophelia (Weddle) Henderson, he was born December 13, 1935 in West Blockton, Alabama. Murphy was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict and attended the First Baptist Church of Plainview. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin children, Brenda Kay Henderson and Allen Ray Henderson.

Survivors include his wife: Mary Henderson of Plainview, Arkansas; four sons:
Murphy Henderson, Jr. of Russellville, Arkansas, David Henderson of Dardanelle, Arkansas, Danny Henderson of Plainview, Arkansas, William Paul Henderson of Plainview, Arkansas; one daughter: Althea Bridget Henderson of Plainview, Arkansas;
five Grandchildren: Alissa Kaye Henderson, Bonnie Jean Henderson, Joshua Lee Henderson, David Thomas Henderson and Rebecca Lynn Henderson; one Brother: Paul Henderson of Russellville, Arkansas; one Sister: April Dalrymple of Russellvile, Arkansas; one Nephew: Johnny Frederic Henderson of Atkins, Arkansas and one Niece
:Ladina George of Atkins, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Monday, September 20, 2004 at the First Baptist Church of Plainview. Rev. Blain Craig will officiate. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery at Pottsville, Arkansas, by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be 2-5 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
