Not sure what to say?

Pastor Murphy was an amazing pastor and friend to the Smith’s family (Steve and Min. Mary). He had a BIG heart and was a very loving, caring person. Full of life person with a contagious smile as the picture. A good teacher of God’s Word. We learned so much from him. We miss him very much. Continue your RIH Rev. Hunt. ❤

I am praying for you and your family in your time of brevement. God is your source of strength in these difficult times. Remember what has happened in your life is all good in the sight of God and it will become clearer as time goes by.Dr. Hunt was a great friend to our family.

With much love for your family.

Sis. Bobbie J. Simmons, widow of the late Dr. J.E. Simmons

Many are called, but few are chosen. I thank God for allowing this man to pass my way. As a child growing up in Shreveport, it was great having someone like Pastor Hunt to teach you and show you the love of Christ. He was a blessing to so many lives, and he will be greatly missed.

Pastor Hunt touched many lives young and old, black and white.God used him in a special way. He knew in his preaching and teaching that one day
life here on earth will end, and life starts with God. He was a role model for all sinners and christians, that was his purpose. May God bless and comfort his family and that they will follow his preching and teaching. As time goes on and you remembers his laugh, talk and how he comfort family and others the load will get lighter, because he will...

To the Hunt Family,
Sincere and Deepest Symapthy to you and yours. Rev. Hunt was a God-Fearing man,and he lived a life that he preached about. From time to time I encountered him in my travels, and he always gave a positive message. I am the Mother-in-law of the Nurse in Little Rock Arkansas that took care of Leland when he was ill. We all live in Seattle Washington now. God will take care of you.

To the Hunt Family,
As long as there are members of my family alive, Pastor Hunt will be remembered by the Henderson and Norman families.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Pastor Hunt was not only an under shepherd to God's flock, but he was a father figure to some and a role model to most. I will never forget the things he taught me as one of his Jr.Cadets. He will be greatly missed. May God bless his family & Church members.

Patrick and family,
Your father was such a kind person with a gentle spirit. Patrick, I never knew that he was your father because you did not need a parent conference. Please know that your family is in my prayers.
God's blessings & comfort,
Diane Watkins Atkins Huntington HS
