Not sure what to say?

Murray and I worked in the same research lab at Baker Castor Oil in the early 1960s. Before I left to study in Israel in 1965 Murray asked me to join him in forming our own chemical company, which I had to decline to do. Although I was 20 years his junior, he called me by the nickname "Dr. Beilstein"

Sadly I did not re-connect with him when I returned to the states years later.

I was deeply saddened today to learn that Murray had past away. I started my career in 1985 working under Murray in the development of rheological additives at NL Chemicals. He taught me much of what I know about nitrogen chemistry. He was a good chemist and a great teacher. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I will miss you Murray.
