Murray was a true Poe and literature advocate-- his insight and talents were invaluable for our understanding of the Poe world. Rest, Murray, after a life well lived.

Murray was such a generous, kind & gentle man who always spoke of his family. I met him through the Osher Vinyl Lovers Group & was amazed at his knowledge and his music collection! It was a privilege to have known him. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Murray was a beloved soccer coach for Pocoshock and then RKYSC. His dedication and commitment to girls sports was unbelievable. I had the pleasure of also working with him as a referee in the area. I will miss him - Very good man. Sending heartfelt hugs to his family.

My deepest sympathy to all of Murray's family members. I will always remember his boundless energy, deep love of literature, deep love of the RVA Classis Book Club, and the encouragement he gave to me to become a teacher at the Life Learning Center and the Osher Institue.

I worked with Murray at DCE he was a wonderful and kind person
