Not sure what to say?

Murray attended Gettysburg College and lived in Apple Hall prior to transferring to GW. He loved sports. Murray would roll up a sock and use it as a hockey puck...firing shots "on goal" in the narrowest of hallways. I was the goaltender. During these sporting events, Murray would do a running broadcast as if we were in a live game; he was a Bobby Orr shooting breakaways against the Rangers Eddie Giacomin. "Kick save, and a beauty!" We made many trips to HERSHEY, PA to Hershey Bears...

me and my dad

My dad was the best man i knew... Here i sit almost 3 years later... still in tears missing his hugs, advice and love. He was the most amazing man I have ever.. and will ever know.. I love you always daddy.. my best friend, my angel... RIP <3

My wife Lynn and her twin sister Lori had Murray as a professor at Clark. His humor and energy made that tax course extremely memorable for both of them. Several years ago, our two families became clients of Murray. It was then that I became acquainted with him. I found him to be a warm and wonderful man, funny, smart and kind hearted. He will be sorely missed.

Mrs. Paula Hershman, Samantha and Adam - Please accept my most sincere condolences on your loss. I didn't know Murray half as long as I would have liked but I count my blessing to have know him even for such a short time. What a wonderful, kind, funny and loving man he was. Never once, was he bitter about the cards dealt to him, rather he played them and showed me great strength and courage. Please know that he spoke often of ALL of you and always with a love that he simply couldn't contain...

Adam, Samantha and Paula, I am heartbroken to hear of Murray's passing, I did not learn of your loss until this past Monday. I met Murray at the JCD almost 9 years ago, I had just been diagnosed with cancer, and was in treatment, however, I was so very fortunate to be able to play basketball. With our legal backgrounds and our love of basketball, and out children attending Bancroft School, we became good friends. I had so many great times playing on Murray's Huskie's team over the past...

Paula, Adam and Samantha, Mary and I are so sorry for the loss of your dad. Mur was a good friend of ours for many years. He will be sadly missed. What ever took him over these past couple of years was not fair. Nobody should have to go through that. Mur was a fighter though, he gave it his best shot and refused to give in. Our thoughts ad prayers are with you. again we are so very sorry for your loss. God bless.

Paula, Adam and Samantha please know that we are saddened to hear of the passing of your loving husband and father, Murray. We will always cherish the memories of the summers that out children spent together in Maine. Murray always managed to sneak up to camp before visiting day...he couldn't wait to see Adam and Sam. Once visiting day arrived there were rituals of meals at Governors, shopping, The Lobster Trap and ice cream at Giffords-after all what was visiting day for? Not just one...
