We've only recently learned of Murray's death. He was a man with a keen mind and open heart, someone who tried to make everyone else feel at ease. He and Bee (equally extraordinary) were wonderfully caring neighbors who took us under their collective wing from the moment they met us. We miss Murray dearly.

Murray and I always felt very fortunate for the first 64 years of our marriage. We were way past our shelf life and still going strong. The last 3 1/2 years were very difficult for Murray as he struggled to regain his lost mobility to the very end. Our "good night" routine was "Remember, Mur, we have a breakfast date tomorrow morning." This always got a broad smile and a nodded "yes" to my question: "Do you still love me a little?" "GOOD NIGHT SWEET PRINCE".

Uncle Murray was the best uncle anyone could ever have. He was genuinely a good person. Always there when needed and cared about other people. He was loved by many people and will be missed. My family and I will never forget Uncle Murray. Forever in our hearts. Niece Michele

A wonderful loving man who took joy and gave joy in the simple daily things. I am so priveleged to have known him as Uncle. However, that only scratches the surface of all the things he is to me and all the ways he has participated in and affected my life. The picture I keep of him in my mind is of Murray flying a kite on the Bridgegampton beach some 10 years ago..as ever, boyishly, joyously, having fun. You are loved, cherished, and missed enormously.
