I knew Dr Ross as a neighbor on DeBary Place in Summit when I was a teenager in late 60s-early 70's...he would always walk home after work and would have kind words to say when he saw us playing stickball in the street. He also worked for me as a visiting optomitrist at Celanese in Summit when I headed up the Safety Dept there about 15 years later. That was a strange relationship for me. Great man and true American.
