Not sure what to say?

Murray was my company commander when I served in Korea as S4, 1/31Inf. A truly jovial and principled leader! He had a great impact on my life & he will be missed!

My cousin and childhood friend. We had a lot of childhood adventures together.

Just read the news. Murray and I graduated high school together and he used to pick me up in his 1939 Hudson to go to school, Always in good humor with a joke or tale. Rest well!!

Just thought of my old friend Murray and very sorry to hear of his passing. I audited his Small Business Program for many years and enjoyed his company at many Small Business events.I asked him to be a guest speaker often and he always was someone I could totally count on. He called me "His Auditor" ,but he was a friend. I, know how his family must miss him he was a one of the best. I have a thousand memories if him...

Well, well, my beautiful friend and fabulous mentor Murray. You came into my thoughts this morning, just as you do so many times. I decided to google your name in an effort to procure a new phone number for you and Lorraine to catch up as I have over the years since I left Virginia and moved back to my home state of illinois. instead of the Info I was seeking, up came an obit! I thought this cant be my Murray Schooner! but in looking further, their was your picture and I was left feeling...

I had the pleasure of getting to know Murray & his family in recent years while he patiently taught us the federal business. His guidance, persistence, and mentoring were amazing; however the best part was clearly the friendship that has grown. I think about you often Murray. It is hard to believe you have gone to greener pastures for more than a year now. My wife Karen and I are always grateful that you invited us to your home and made us feel very welcome to the DC area during our...

You’ve been gone exactly one year today. The memory of this day last year remains so vivid, yet it feels like it has been an eternity without you. Although we have wonderful memories to cling to, it’s difficult to accept the idea that there will be no new memories to come. Life without Dad/Grandpa just isn’t the same. We love you, we miss you, and we remember you, on this day and every day.

Lorraine - Jim and I extend our deepest condolences to you and your family. I just found out about Murray's death on yesterday, 6/21/10 and was saddened to hear of his passing. May God be your source of strength during your time of bereavement.
With sympathy,

Your birthday passed and now it is Father's Day. We miss you so much and wish you were still with us to celebrate these occasions. Your spirit remains, but it sure would be nice to hear your voice or see your smile.
