I knew Murray from the time he & Joe shared offices with my father, C. Edward Duffy. Murray was a gentile, intelligent, honorable man who left a lasting impression on all who knew him. God bless you all.

I reported to Judge Schwartz during the desegregation case as he tasked two of us to develop desegregation plans for the Court to review. He was the only sane person during a tumultuous time. He treated us with respect and exuded a certain dignity and compassion.

Murray was an accomplished, down-to-earth man with a welcoming smile. We will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with Sue, Sara Lu and family. Hugs to you all.

What a lovely, gentle man. I feel so fortunate to have known him. Sara Lu, you and your daughters are in my thoughts and prayers.
