I will always have wonderful thoughts about Masad. He was such an elegant man. My father, Jack Carlson got to know Masad well when they were both connected through Children's Hospital of Oakland. Jack had such a high regard for Masad. I was lucky enough to have shared some marvelous conversations with him in his later years. Masad had an amazing gift to make people feel very good about themselves. He will be greatly missed by all of us who truly admired him. Martha Ryan
