Obituary

Dana Saucier, a schoolmate of Myles C. Sebastien, said she was a few years behind him grade-wise, but she knew him because "he had one of those faces that you couldn''t help but notice." "He was always smiling, always happy, and always respectful," she said. "And I''m sure until his last breath, he was still smiling." Sebastien, 21, of Opelousas, La., died Dec. 20 from wounds suffered in combat in Anbar province. He was a 2004 high school graduate and was assigned to Camp Lejeune. "Myles was always a likable person _ laid back, and fun to be around," said National Guardsman Blake Castille. Sebastien was a guy who loved to barbecue and boil crawfish. He was also the kind of guy "everyone''s parents liked" and was the friend "everyone needed." "Myles was loved by many, and will be missed by many more," Castille said. "He touched many lives and mine is that much better for having known him." "Opelousas lost a good man and a good Marine," said Marine 1st Sergeant Felix Acosta. He is survived by his wife, Kelie. His "greeting" on his MySpace page is dedicated to his wife, and reads "I''m coming home to you, baby girl."

Hi Myles
I miss you. I miss the twinkle in your eye when you smiled. I miss the way you waved good-bye and winked your left eye as you would walk out the door. And I missed the sound of your voice, especially when you spoke my name "MOM". I miss all of YOU...
Love always, MOM
