Myra Lou Kevil

SAN ANGELO Myra Lou Kevil, 83, of San Angelo joined her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011. She was born April 7, 1928, to Jacob Robert and Ludie Bass (Gregory) Kevil in Marie, Texas. She was a longtime loan officer and owned a small loan company. She was a member of Lakeview Methodist Church and attended Immanuel Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Bronte. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mary Louise Baker; her brothers, Lenard Kevil and J.D. Kevil; and her nephew, Harold Baker. She is survived by her nephew, Jerry Baker and wife Diana of Menard; nieces Mary Ruth Baker of San Angelo and Kim Thoss and husband Reed of Houston; great-nephews and nieces Brad Baker and wife Paula of San Angelo, Bryan Baker and wife Keri of Dripping Springs, Leigh Anna Drew and husband Ben of San Antonio, Angie Heroy of San Angelo, Allison Smith and husband Wayne of San Angelo, Shana McCaleb of San Angelo and Andrew Thoss and Natalie Thoss of Houston; and great-great-nephews and nieces Jackson Baker, Jillian Baker, Kaitlyn Baker, Kylie Baker, Colten Heroy, Rebekah Heroy, Lauren Smith, Laci Smith, Kaycee McCaleb and Chase McCaleb. Pallbearers will be Jerry Baker, Colten Heroy, Donald Ray Baker, Brad Baker, Bryan Baker and Ben Drew. Memorials may be made to Children's Miracle Network; or a charity of your choice.
