Not sure what to say?

It's been a very difficult year. Although I have remembered Myra and Nigel every day, it seems especially real today, one year later. There are so many years of memories which offer some comfort. I share my love for them with friends and family, and will never forget. They will always hold a special place in my heart, as will Sarah, Jen and the families. Remembering with love.

My deepest sympathy to Myra's entire family. I will remember her in my prayers.

A fantastic, dynamic art educator is the Myra I have known. Her work in the field exemplifies a quality at the national level.
She has left me with a thousand moments that will live with me forever. I can see her smile, energy and focus everytime I think of her.

Please know her family, fellow educators, friends and students are in my prayers.

I first met Myra on one of her trips to England to see Nigel before they were married. Over the years we probably met about a dozen times and we had lots of very in-depth conversations about life in the US and the UK, children, teaching, art and a whole host of other subjects. You could always rely on Myra for an interesting conversation with lots of knowledge and you knew she was usually right in her opinions. She was extremely shrewd and serious but that sense of hunour was always lurking...

We are deeply saddened and send our sympathy to Jen, Sarah and members of the Goldberg and Plumridge families. We will always remember Myra's kindness and will miss our smart, dear, fun-loving neighbor. To know Myra even casually was to know how much her joy was centered in her love for Sarah and Jen. May her love continue to shine in your hearts.

Sincerely, your neighbors

Where to begin is such a hard question to answer...mrs.plumridge was a wonderful person. knowing her from attending srpingfield township school made not only the learning experience fun, but she was alway more of a "friend". Later finding out that she came to the salon where i work, we bonded anc chated about hair color and everything else. Her daughter jen is like the little sister i never had, and we always talked about hair and fun "girl" things. Myra is and always will be a person someone...

I worked at Cheltenham High School and knew Myra as an art student, an avid swimmer, on the swim team, and a great person! I remember her helping my son with his "bar-mitzvah" (arts & craft) project. What patience she had! She told me about her Israel trips, year of study abroad and of course Nigel. How they both loved each other and Sarah & Jennifer! Myra and Nigel both will be sorely missed!

I remember Myra as the older sister to my friend Larry and her filling that role as one might expect. As a busy teenager she had her own priorities, but I saw in her a very proud and protective sister watching over Larry’s friends and accomplishments. She was sweet and funny – and endured the foolishness of Larry’s friends with a certain aplomb. I remember her smile and her curls. And how she reminded me of her mom.

Later when she married Nigel, the young couple seemed so in...

I met my dear friend, Myra, 27 years ago while attending the Tyler School of Art in Rome,Italy. Her inquisitive spirit made her a joy to befriend. Our travels together in Europe are etched in my mind and soul. During a spring journey across the Thames I met Nigel, a prince among men. Myra and Nigel's transatlantic romance was magical. Each milestone in their life together:wedding, births and bat mitzvahs was a joy and honor to share. I will miss Myra as a friend and as a fellow artist.
