Not sure what to say?

Mrs R was truly one of the great teachers who truly cared about their students and she had a true passion for the subjects she taught. She was tough but fair and knew how to motivate all her students to give their best.

Julie, Amy I want to let you know that I think of your Mom often. Every round I play at Rockledge prompts her memory accompanied with a chuckle. Every time I go to putt on the 8th hole I remember the day she sunk an IMPOSSIBLE downhill putt. I laugh every time. Best wishes and love to both of you Nancy Bonuomo

Myra an I played racket ball and tennis while teaching at EGHS. She was a real tough competitor who was humble and had a great sense of humor. I had many meaningful conversation with Myra over our twenty years together. She left us too early and went too quickly, I never got to hug her and say goodbye. I will always have a void in my heart for Myra, I will remember lessons she taught and forever mourn her passing. Love you Myra

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Mrs. R. She was one of my favorite teachers when attending East Granby High School. I'm now a teacher and that career choice was easy to make after having such great teachers like her growing up. May she rest in peace.

I am deeply saddened by the death of Mrs. R. She was my teacher, and after graduation, she was my friend.

One of the memories that I have of Mrs. R is that she had scheduled a test. That day, I stayed home "fake sick." However, that evening I was hosting the E.G.H.S Variety Night.

When I next saw her, she said: "You were sick during the day, but you were wonderful at Variety Night."

The next time I went to class, she informed me that she would give me a...

My condolences to Mrs. R's family. May she rest in peace after a life well lived. She was one of those teachers for whom it truly was a calling and she had a gift. My daughters were fortunate to have had such a wonderful teacher.
