We only realized this morning after seeing Denise quoted in the Spartanburg newspaper that Myra Thompson was formerly Myra Quarles our neighbor for four years on Rutledge Avenue while my wife Dr. MJ Black was in med school at MUSC. While we were horrified by this senseless crime before, now we are heartbroken for her family.
