Not sure what to say?

I'm SO sorry to just learn of this. Ms. Krelstein challenged me out of my comfort zone when she was my teacher at Garfield High, a unique person who was even more influential to me than I appreciated at the time, R.I.P.

I grew up with Myrna in west Rogers Park. We were together everyday for years- all through Rogers Elementary, Sullivan High School and U of Illinois/ Champaine. We loved each other and were "best friends." Lost touch after college but talked occasionally. Had no idea she was ill. I will never forget her. I relive our friendship often. My best to Jeffrey and her daughters. Chiz

Just thinking again of Myrna and her spirit. Have lovely memories of our friendship and your family. Best Jill

Dearest Jeff, Nicole and Ari,
i cannot stop thinking of your loss, and of Myrna.
She was and is such a spirit, that even after all these years, I find myself remembering our conversations, her advise, and the laughter we shared. You have bother grown into lovely women, I looked on Instagram. Know that's her spirit lives with me too, as present as it was 20 years ago..when we were friends. My best to you Jeff, and your happiness with your girls and their families,
Jill De Gennaro

Dear Jeff, Nicole and Alex,
Myrna has been on my mind all day, as I spent the evening watching the sunset, I thought why? I was a friend of your family many years ago, am remember her and all of you fondly. I am sorry for your loss, please know that she was most certainly an inspiration to me, and so many that knew her. Jill De Gennaro

Myrna was a generous, loyal friend who loved her family and dedicated her spiritual life to beauty, art, design, education and joy. She had a profound affect on all of us. Myrna came from a place of love, humor and compassion. She will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. I have been wearing my ruffled white socks everyday. Love, Lynnie

Myrna was my best friend all through elementary school (Rogers School), high school (Sullivan) and college at the UofI. We drifted apart when she left Champaign and eventually moved to CA. Kept in touch abit and had a wonderful weekend visit in San Diego many years ago. She came to one high school reunion that we had the best time at. We loved to dance, have fun and explore everything together when we were kids. We slept at each other's houses, told each other our most secret thoughts,...
