MYRNA DABRUSKY KAGAN

Dear Kagan family,

To be honest, I haven't thought of Myrna for close to 40 years, and yet the news of her passing is a jolt for me. For me Myrna was THE teacher that ignited the spark in me, and I was forever changed after being her student. She taught me to push myself and challenged me to do my best. I felt her tough love and knew she believed in me. I went forward from her class believing in myself and for that she has my eternal gratitude.

Dear Donald and family,
Myrna was my colleague and my friend for many years at Ezra and after her retirement. She was also the teacher of our son and daughters. Myrna was a unique teacher who cared deeply about her students. She was great to work with and we used to laugh a lot as she had a wonderful sense of humor.
Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss and know that she will always be remembered.

Dear Don, Robert, Fred and family,

Arlene and I were saddened to read in today New Haven Register that Myna has passed on.

All of you, at one time or another, were patients of mine. Myna was always was a pleasant, straight forward person who never failed to sing the praises of her husband and sons whenever asked.

We wish you all well in this very difficult, sad time.
