Not sure what to say?

As a police officer in Avon for 25 years and the Youth Officer for 8 of those, I had the good fortune to work with Ike on several levels. It was always a pleasure to meet with him in my duties and he always made me feel welcome. I will always think of him fondly and have much respect and admiration for him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless !

I worked with your mom in Simsbury. During those years I became friends with both your parents. Wonderful man. I hope you can take comfort in the warm, funny, loving memories you have. His legacy will be within all of you and will keep you connected always. Janet Black

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
My sincere condolences to the Eiaenhaure family.

A lovely, big hearted man. I was most fortunate to be taught by him, teach under his leadership at AMS and enjoy two of his grandkids while teaching in Suffield. Both Jeff and I were very saddened to hear of his passing.
With warm thoughts and condolences,
Jeff and Nancy Linton

Growing up in Avon school system, he is the only administrator I remember! He had a gentle, grandfatherly air about him. I hope someone in your family has access to the "You Know You Grew Up in Avon" Facebook page. There are several nice memories of him shared there. Take care.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Condolences to the entire family. He was a great man, trusted leader, gentleman.
