Not sure what to say?

Dear JoAnn and Family, I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you. I am so sorry to learn of your loss and will be thinking of you.

JoAnn, there are no words to share that can bring the comfort we so desire when someone we love has gone. A hole is left that can only be filled by the many wonderful memories that continue to live on in our minds and in the stories we share with each other. You and your family are in my prayers, and may you find some comfort in knowing how many people care about you, and how much Myron was loved by his family and friends.

This was very unexpected, I thought Myron would be around forever. He was my co-worker and boss and friend at Gopher Machine & Engineering. He helped me dicover my other talents instead of machining. And this is were I discovered my talents of being a Sales Rep. I do owe alot of gratitude to him for pushing me to what I am today. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to his family and wish them the best thru this very hard time. Again thank you Myron for all you have done, you will be...

Joann & Family: I feel so bad. I just can't believe that something like this can happen to such a nice person. Hang in there and if you need a ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on I'm here for you. Nancy

Myron in the mid-1960s on the North Shore near Tofte, MN.

Myron was my first steady boyfriend in HS. When I moved on to my first husband, Dean Hedstrom, Myron seemed determined to stay in the Hawkinson family. He first dated my younger cousin Carol, then married her younger sister, Jo Ann. My dad, Roy Hawkinson, was his role model, and Myron helped run my dad's machine shop for most of his career. He bought the Gopher Machine and Engineering Company name after my parents' death, and he continued the company independently as a buyer/seller of used US...

Jo Ann,
I am so sorry to hear of Myron's death. I remember him well from our Mac days. He sold me my first car in trade for my motorcycle. My prayers are with you.

My prayers are with your family at such a difficult time. I got to know Myron when his Mom moved to Brightondale. He was a huge hit with his cars at our picnic. I will never forget my son's face (7 year old) when I told him we're riding in a car with no steering wheel. Thank you Myron for the good memories. I will do my best to be there if your Mom needs anything!

I would just like to say that even though we just met Myron a few short weeks ago, we really grew to love the man. We are the couple that just bought Leona Hanson's house. Myron and my boyfriend had so very much in common. (ie: Back to the 50's!) He was very happy to help us out with his knowledge and tools so that we could fix up our "new" home. What a very, very caring man. We will all miss him greatly and we are so very sorry to his family.

With our thoughts to you.....

LOOSING A FREIND ANYTIME IS PAINFUL. LOOSING A FAMILY MEMBER IS DEVASTATING. AT THIS TIME OF YEAR THE PAIN AND MEMORIES ARE MULTIPLIED. WORDS CANNOT SAY HOW WE ARE FEELING RIGHT NOW. WE ARE PRAYING FOR ALL OF YOU AND HOPE YOU FIND PEACE IN KNOWING MYRON IS IN A BETTER WORLD.
