Myron Nelsen

Myron was a true gentleman and a man I always looked up to while growing up
in our machine shop. He was our first employee in 1954 and our Foreman at Millipart in the ‘60s and 70s. We have stayed in touch for decades. I’m proud to have suggested Sequim as a place to live for “Nels” and Marilyn in their later years. I’ll miss our occasional very enjoyable phone calls. He was a Prince. Scot Jamison

Grandpa was such a kind and gentle person. He always called out to me in the same way with "Hey Becky" so I can still hear his voice even now. He had the best hugs, he was an excellent listener (I used to quite literally talk his ear off when I was small), and the silliest jokes that make me giggle just remembering them. He had a beautiful skill in wood-working and I cherish the lovely birdhouse he made specifically for me. When I mentioned that I'd love one from him, he quickly started...

So very sorry for your loss Sheryl, I know he held a special place in your heart. You have wonderful memories to remember whenever you think of him. He sounded like a wonderful father, and gave so much to everyone!
