Not sure what to say?

10 years since you left? Where did they go? So much you have missed that I wished I could have shared with you since you have been gone. The Country French style home Tom and I built in Heber that I think you would have loved (though I'm sure you would still find ways to improve it). The marriages of two of your grandsons to lovely young women. You never got to see your granddaughters Emma and Maisie, your grandsons Charlie and Paden, nor your great-grandson Simon or your great granddaughters...

Mom, I can't believe that five years have passed since you left. I was thinking of you just last night while gazing up at the stars; looking for that one bright light that I knew was you. So much has happened in my life since and not a day goes by that I don't wish that I could pick up the phone and call you up to tell you what's going on. I think about you every time I do a puzzle, sitting at your old kitchen table. I think about you whenever I cook something you showed me how to make. I...

A thespian she was from Mobile,
sometimes a vixen, sometimes genteel,
with her children times four
she continually sought more
of the lessons that life could wield.

I will miss our session breakfasts!

Ms.B! I've just perused (ya' like that word, don't you? I knew you would) some of the other shared bits, and they are so truely spot on! You were nothing short of a character! My favorite part of visiting Ash's home was the wild conversations we would have. And as someone else shared - you gifted me with the idea that just because we grow older, doesn't mean we stop trying to learn and understand.

That, and secretly - everyone loves a wise-guy. ;) I look forward to seeing you again and...

Sorry for your loss may the God of all comfort be with the family at this difficult time

I had the privilege of knowing Ms. Bills when I was a teenager. She always welcomed me into her home at any given time, and I thankful for that. I have many fond memories of her and her family that I will always remember. I know that you are not suffering anymore and are looking down at your family with joy. Breathe freely in heaven.

"She should have died hereafter; There would have been time for such a word. To-morrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow,creeps in this petty pace from day to day, to the last syllable of recorded time; And all of our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death. Out, out brief candle!Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more..."- William Shakespeare.

Katye was a memorable person, but if I had to choose just one thing that summed her up, it was her love of her family. While it was OK for her to criticize her children, it was a huge mistake to even make a joke about any of them in her presence. I still remember the poor shoe store clerk who made the mistake of suggesting that he couldn't find a shoe to fit Ashley's foot because her heel was too narrow. I'm sure he went on to live a normal life. Any comment about Mike, Ted or David that was...

Katie, I shall miss your chats and concerns for Ashley. Don't worry though, her buddies have her back now. And you can send me a sign if I need to do a better job:) I know you were so proud of your kids, even though it was sometimes difficult to express, and that you shared a special bond with Ashley. You were a unique lady and will be missed.
