Not sure what to say?

Oct. 8, 2008 I am saddened to hear of Gail's passing. He was my captain on the SLCFD for a few years, was a great fair boss and a talented artist. I learned a lot and had some fun working for him, and I'm sorry he's gone.

Dear Wilma and family, my heart is very heavy as I write with my sympathy and love. I so enjoyed working with Gail in Cardiac Rehab and learning about all of his wonderful talents. He was a very impressive man he will be missed.
with love, Tawnya Zeidler, Lakeveiw Cardiac Rehab.

I was just thinking of the Potter family the other day and was especially surprised when I saw Gail's obituary in the paper. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at this time and know that you and your family have made lasting impressions in my life. 'Til we meet again--in this life or the next.

Dear Gailene, I'm sorry to hear of your Dad's rough time leaving this life. You were lucky to have him for a father. He is well respected and loved. May good memories ease the pain of his passing.
Love, Vicky

Dear Family
Sorry to hear of my friend's death. I am in St. George right now and want to tell you that Gail was a great firefighter. I was his Batt Chief part of the time. He was a good kind man. We pray for you in your loss. He will move on with dignity.

Dear Wilma and Family,
As Nanette's "in-laws", we enjoyed the times we visited with you both at your shows and in your home. We treasure the wood carvings Gail did for us. He really outdid himself with the Wizard staff for Don and my dolphin.
May God bless you with good memories of this wonderful man.
Don and Earlene Russell

I knew Gail in my younger years. His smile was always the first thing you notice. My condolences to family.

WILMA AND FAMILY;
I HAD THE GREAT PLEASURE OF GROWING UP DOWN THE STREET FROM THE POTTER FAMILY, AND THEN WORKING WITH GAIL AT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR MANY YEARS...THEY DONT COME ANY BETTER THAN GAIL..HE WAS SUCH AN AWESOME GUY..I AM SO SAD TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING. I HOPE AND PRAY THAT YOU WILL ALL CARRY THE MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES YOU SHARED WITH HIM CLOSE TO YOUR HEARTS, TO HELP YOU THROUGH THIS TOUGH TIME..OUR FAMILY LOVES AND PRAYS FOR YOU ALL...

I worked with Gail for many years. He was a true mentor to me and I always had the greatest respect for him. Gail was a gifted leader and role model.
