Not sure what to say?

Mr. Zaccheo was my PE teacher in the early 1990s. I just learned of his death, but it saddens me to know that he's no longer with us. Rest in peace, coach.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Coach Z was a very inspirational man. I remember meeting him when I played frosh-soph football at Pioneer High School. He was the varsity football coach at the time, but he also taught weight training and he always made sure to push us toward our fullest potential and if you messed around at all in the class, you were doing pushups. That was the first time I met him, I had to drop down and do 50. He encouraged me from then on to continue in football, but unfortunately I didn't answer the...

My condolences to the Zaccheo family as I recently heard about the passing of coach Z. I had the privilege of having Coach Z as my football coach in the late 70's at San Jose High School. I have very fond memories of him and greatly appreciated the positive impact he had on my life. Please accept this as a tribute to his life.

To the Zaccheo Family:

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Myron.

I had the good fortune of working with Myron at Pioneer School, and he was an extraordinary man.

May all the priceless gifts Myron had live on in you, and carry you through these difficult times.

With My Deepest Sympathy & Prayer,

Pablo Arenas

So sincere and very genuine. I'm not able to make the services, but my head and heart will be their in spirit. May you all hold dear memories close to your heart. Rest peacefully sweet man.

Fondly,

Our heartfelt condolences to the Zaccheo family and extended families. I had the privilege of having Coach Z as my baseball and football coach at San Jose High School when he first started his teaching and coaching career, back in the early 70's.

He was fair, but firm with all of his players. He was also respectful of his opponents, as I later found out during my coaching career. He has always been held in high regard among his coaching peers.

He was a person who I looked up to...

My father knew coach Z when they were both in high-school at San Jose High. But this didn't mean that I was given any special consideration as I moved-up the rung from middle linebacker in JV to the Varsity ranks for Gunderson High, a top ranked NorCal team under Coach Z. Early on in our meeting Coach's words inspired me and helped me believe that he saw something positive in me, a potential, that I didn't see in myself. I am sure I am not the only one that wanted to play up to the potential,...

my life is forever changed for myron was such a big part of my life-we didn't see eachother much, mostly at family or holiday functions. Fred his younger brother is one of my longest and best friend. Myron served as a big brother to both of us-guiding us-advising us-and often making fun of us. Myron and i share birthdays together, may 1- i so looked foward to calling him every year to trade birthday greetings- i think i will continue to do that. We will miss you coach- you will not be soon...
