Not sure what to say?

I am lucky to have grown up living across the street from Mr. and Mrs. White. You were were like second parents to us, welcoming us to the neighborhood and always keeping a watchful eye on us as we grew up. Having Mrs. White as my Spanish teacher was a privilege and my respect and regard for her, both as a professional and a person, only grew as time went on. My deepest condolences go out to you, Roger, or Mr. White to my brothers, sister and I. Please do not hesitate to call any of us...

Our favorite neighbors! So many years living across the street from each other and so many memories that can be shared and forever will live in our hearts. We spent many Christmas days celebrating at our house and those will always bring a feeling of warmth. Our friendship was special because she taught my kids, which was not an easy task but because of who she was she gained their respect and love. We will always treasure all the times we spent together and will hold those memories deep...

Dear Roger. What a beautiful love story you and Myrtis shared. We are deeply sorry for your loss. May our healing and loving Lord bring you comfort and peace. Much love.

Mr. White, My all time favorite teacher and summer playground counselor. You kept all of us in line in your own nice way. Always played baseball and basketball with us during the summer. We still speak of you often. Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of Mrs White. A legend at West Rocks and a great teacher. She knew how to keep us interested. Please find peace Mr. White. Best couple ever. Love always, Kenny.

Mrs White was one of the greatest teachers I ever had along with her husband Roger. They taught for the love of teaching and educating the youth. They were stern when needed but so sweet. She will be missed greatly but please know that she made her mark in Norwalk! RIP Mrs White
