CASON, Sarah Myrtle, 84, died September 1, 2011 in Alexander City after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Laslie "Pat" Cason; brothers, Ledford Leon "Lee" Boone and Robert Harold "Bob" Boone and sister, Nellie Raye Edge. She is survived by her sons, Robert Clark "Pat" Cason and his wife, Tina, and James Michael "Mike" Cason and his wife Becky and grandsons, Benton Michael "Ben" Cason and his wife Emily and Alexander "Alex" Cason. Myrtle was born in 1926 in Langdale to Robert Wiley Boone and Nellie Mae Mickle Bailey Boone. Myrtle was a devoted Christian who found her greatest joy in taking care of her family. She also found great joy in helping others, which she did as a secretary at Eastern Hills Baptist Church for more than 20 years. Funeral services will be held at Eastern Hills Baptist Church at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 4th with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Eastern Hill Baptist Church. Leak Memory Chapel Directing

Pat, I am sorry to hear that you have lost your mother. I know it is hard, as I lost Mom in 1991 and still miss her very much.
