Myrtle L. Dietrich, 91, of Nazareth, PA passed away Tuesday, September 3rd, at Country Meadows Bethlehem, PA.


Myrtle was born in Portland, PA on February 13, 1928, and raised in Johnsonville, a daughter of the late Chester and Ethel (Messler) Lohman.


She was the widow of Donaldson B. Dietrich who passed away in 1982. Myrtle was employed as a floor worker at Country Miss in Forks Twp., PA until retiring in 1988. She was a 1946 graduate of Bangor High School and a graduated from Allentown Cosmetology School. In the 1950s she owned and operated her own beauty salon in South Bangor. Myrtle enjoyed cooking, baking, her family history, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.


She was a member of St. John's UCC in Nazareth, PA.


Myrtle is survived by two daughters, Maryann Cimino, and husband John and Ellen Incontrera, and husband Frank, 3 grandchildren Christina and Gina Cimino and Nicholas Incontrera, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Elmer and Ralph Lohman.


Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7th at 2:00 PM at Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 4 Lillian Lane "Village of Johnsonville" Bangor, PA with Rev. David Felker officiating. Friends and family are invited to call from 1-2 PM on Saturday, September 7th at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the St. John's Cemetery Bangor, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Slate Belt Museum, 2214 N Delaware Dr., Mt. Bethel, PA 18343 or to the Slate Belt Heritage Center, 30 N 1st St, Bangor, PA 18013.
