Not sure what to say?

In loving memory of precious Irma Dyster,a very special lady who touched so many lives with her genuine love, caring and endless kindness. We met Irma and her husband David many years ago when we were in the same Sunday school class at Olive Baptist Church.
It was easy to see that they loved our Lord and were devout Christians. We felt honored to be in their presence and among their friends. Over the years we saw them at the gym and were amazed at their dedication to trying to stay fit,...

It is all good, praise the Lord for Mother, her service and witmess for the Lord.

Mrs. Dyster was a joy to see. To the family may you find all the comfort in knowing that she and David are in God's hands.

Dave and Ruth,
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Becky Howard Dixon

David and Irma Dyster were members of the Sunday School class I taught for many years at Olive Baptist. They were so knowledgeable in all of the Bible lessons and current topics related to their Christian faith. I was in the hospital room when David went to be with our Lord; I watched Irma kiss his cheek for the last time on this earth. I am rejoicing that today David and Irma are reunited in the Lord. I am sure the family is rejoicing too, although the pain of Irma's home-going must surely...

Thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. My Mom went to MI nursing school with Ms Irma and they were roommates for the 3 years they were in school. I heard many stories of Weston as I was growing up. My Mom (Myrtle Pennington Rush), sends her prayers to the the family. May God be with you and comfort you!

Miss Irma (as I always referred to her) was one of my Sunday School teachers - and she was a big impact on my life. I remember sitting at Sunday dinners at her table - (I finally like spinach, Miss Irma!!).
Ruth & Dave - my prayers are with you during this time. Losing a Mom is a tender time. I have a picture of Miss Irma and Mama at one of their class reunions! So glad I have this to remember them by. (Karen Odom-Smith)

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Irma Dyster brought a bit of light to my life when I met her nearly 25 years ago. Her welcoming nature and interest in others have not only provided a warm memory, they have been an inspiration in own life. I have joy for her well-lived life, her faith and the blessing of her family. I share condolences for her family and friends as they cope with their loss, but know that memories of Irma will sustain and guide them in the future.
