After all these years, I still remember --- and listen to --- recordings of Myrtle Hall. My recordings consist of the songs she performed from the platform of Billy Graham Crusades. Dear Dear Me . . . . I found out just today (2/25/18) that Myrtle Hall-Smith has gone on to be with the Lord. I had been trying for the LONGEST time to find some contact info whereby I could write and let her know that this 62-year-old Virginian CONTINUES TO BE BLESSED by her music that I recorded and kept from the televised Billy Graham crusades down through the years. Emile Pandolfi here. I am so very sorry to hear (I just found out! ) that Myrtle had passed away. She and I were in high school here in Greenville at the same time. Because we were both musicians, we attended some musical events together, participated in concerts together on a number of occasions. She and I both performed with the Greenville Symphony at Sterling High School our senior year (I believe). I grew up on Cleveirvine Ave, just below Nicholtown, where she lived. So we were close...

Miss Myrtle was a patient at Patewood with me in 2015, and I enjoyed getting to know her. She was a lovely woman.

My husband and I were sadden to learn of Myrtle's passing. I attended Lincoln School with her and as high school students we both grew in our spiritual life as members of Springfield Baptist Church.
