Myrtle R. Killian

What a wonderful role model Aunt Myrtle was for me. She was always bright, cheery and what a mind! She knew every player on the Buffalo Sabre hockey team and tried to never miss a game. She sold me my first "oriental" rug. We still laugh about it. I loved listening to her stories of growing up and what it was like living on the Island. Aunt Myrtle has come in and out of our lives regularly. She was always so much fun- and as we aged, she didn't! Her letters were a hoot, and her smile will be with us always. Our prayers go out to the whole family.

Myrtle has lived a century+. I never met anyone who was as caring and kind. It has been a priviledge to be her friend. She will be missed by her loving family and countless friends. Myrtle is reunited with her son and probably teaching the angels to play Euchre.
