Not sure what to say?

A woman that touched so many people will always be remembered! Prayers for all of you as you mourn your loss! God has yet another angel. I met Gurtie and Arthur when I married into the Tabor family many years ago. She was a blessing to me when Betsy Tabor passed. So glad I had the privilege of knowing her and Arthur.

My prayers go out to the family, Mrs. Mays was such a beautiful lady inside and out.

Sorry, I did not get to funeral, but her and Lane Colaw are reviewing old memories of the Tastee-Freez on West Beverley St. in Staunton,Va.
God Bless all of you, Buddy Hutchens

Kathy, Susan(Beccy), Nealand the rest of the family
Frances and I had so many joyful times we spent your Mom(Grandma)and Dad(Paw Paw). She is now enjoying being with your Dad Mike Jason and I'm sure Craig is there also. GOD bless you and the family and sorry I can't be with you.

To all of the MAYS family.....I know Gurtie will be greatly missed by all of us whose lives she had touched. I will always remember her smiling face at Walmart when I stopped by the deli. As our family members pass on, we are thankful that they have peace. Gurtie is reunited with Jason, Mike and Arthur and oh what a joyous day.

Aunt Gurtie will be missed by us all, especially my mother, Faye Mays Gray, who knew her as a great sister-in-law. We will always remember her cheerful personality and wonderful smile she always had.

We are so very sorry for your loss.

Pastor Mays and family,
Prayers of Peace for your and the family, remember the blessings she shared with each and everyone of you.
