Myrtle Faye Sirmon, age 79, of Daisy, died Thursday, July 26, 2007.

She was born on June 24, 1928 at Daisy to Joe Burke Mack and Nettie Draper Mack. On April 15, 1949, she was married to Glen Sirmon. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Loy and Hershel; one sister, Erma and her “baby girl” on August 6, 1951.

Myrtle was a member of the Daisy Freewill Baptist Church, and a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Glen Sirmon of Daisy; a daughter, Sandy Coston of Hot Springs; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ricky Sirmon of Kirby, David and Verna Sirmon and Keith and Leslie Sirmon, all of Daisy; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Bon Mack of Daisy and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, July 28, 2007, at the Daisy Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Jewell and Bro. Kevin Smead officiating.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Interment will be in the Athens Cemetery, under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Inc., Glenwood.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mike Sirmon, Nick Coston, Jason Sirmon, Zach Sirmon, Luke Coston and Bryan Sirmon.

I know sometimes words of comfort may seem so inadequate, but however I do know the depth of the loss you are feeling at this time.
