I'm saddened to learn of the passing of Myrtle. Although I never had the fortune of meeting Myrtle, my father (her brother) the late Mr Basil Townsend often spoke fondly of her. I had hoped of learning more about Myrtle and my father's family and their roots in Jamaica, but I'm afraid that I have left it too late. Love and warmth to you all.
