Great NY radio host Bob Grant loved Myrtle and spoke about her occasionally on his show...She must have been a lovely lady....

It was an honor and privilege to know Mrs. Whitmore. I was a youth on "Your Sunday Best". Mrs. Whitmore kept in touch over the years and was always dedicated to her family, faith and country. "Go Tell It On the Mountain" was her signature song. God Bless her beautiful soul.

I also was a guest several times on Myrtle's show. We met at my graduation from Martin Luther High School. She requested a demo tape and invited me to sing on " Your Sunday Best". She was outgoing, and her love of God was infectious and lifted anyone in her presence. I am so sorry to hear she is gone. I know she is in a blissful afterlife with Christ.

So Sorry to hear this - the world lost a beautiful amazing woman. I had the privilege of working with her for several years when I was a youth on her TV show, Your Sunday Best". Then years later she got me me involved with local politics when Giuliani was Mayor of NY. I'll never forget her. God Bless.
