To the family -
When I moved to Orwigsburg in 1998, I had the pleasure of meeting Myrtle (through my dear friend & neighbor, Phil Orwig). I would take frequent walks past her home on White Birch Road. More often than not, if the weather was good, Myrtle would be outside, working very hard on her yard and gardens. She always greeted me with a smile and stopped her work to chat and exchange funny stories. I looked forward to those encounters.

Just want to extend my deepest sympathy. When I think about all the times we all piled into your mother's car to ride to the bus stop I have to think how kind and thoughtful your mother was. Not sure as children we ever showed our appreciation but I will always be thankful to her for her acts of kindness. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
