Not sure what to say?

Perhaps they are not
stars in the sky,
but rather openings
where our loved ones
shine down to let us
know they are happy.

Dear Lord family,

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. Know that many thoughts and prayers are with you and share in your loss.

My sincere sympathy to all of the Lord clan...he was always so proud of Ann and his childen...and a fountainhead of fascintaing stories and Town Council knowledge...which he willingly dispensed!

Mary K. Drost

Pete was truly one of a kind. He lived life to the fullest and accomplished so much. I have many wonderful memories of him including he & Ann's infamous 4th of July parties, playing tennis and watching tennis in VT. So many great times at their beautiful home, yard and woods.

So it is difficult to say goodbye to this man. A man known by many names, N.P., N. Philip, Pete but never by his "N" name! I am so thankful to have known him and to be welcomed into his family by him. I will...

Libby and Family,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. With deepest sympathy.

With deepest sympathy during your time of mourning.

To the children of Mr. N.P. 'Pete' Lord,
Caitlin told me tonight about her Grandpa's passing. My heart is just breaking for you all.....Mr. Lord was truly a gentleman and a scholar. He was a man of strength and integrity.I will miss him so much. The only thing that would stop my tears tonight was to think of him being together again with your Mom. They are now in a paradise that no island on earth could compare to....I hope that you will find peace in that belief.

To the Lord family, my deepest condolences and thanks for letting me visit my Army buddy one last time. I will miss you, Pete, and it was a pleasure knowing you and serving with you in Company C 399th infantry.

To Ann and family;
I extend my deepest sympathy to you and yours.
I remember a newly married couple on Ledyard Avenue.
Your old neighbor.
Selma Pellet Andelman.

Ann, Bob and Family
My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time.
