I am still shocked when I think of her and remember that she is gone from our midst. She was a friend with noble instincts, a great sense of humor as well as a deep sense of the spiritual. I still miss her.

Reflection is a way to learn about oneself when experiencing those who are close to you who have died. This is the third professor from risd Who has passed away. All of them have been women. And all of them encourage me hugely in my life. That is a gift to have had and I strive to have them inspire me in the future of what I create, and the life I live. It is the gift of appreciation and death is the strongest reminder of this. That reminder can inform how we heal the world. Thank you to Nade, an incredible friend ,mentor , professor and fellow artist. Nade Haley changed my life and hugely inspired my life's work :www.artolution.org

Nade was a wonderful friend of 31 years I so admired her as an artist she was imaginative, avante - guard, brave, original and revered nature and the spirit of mankind in her artwork. She was very hard working and serious about her pursuit of
her artwork and that of her students. She was kind and highly sensitive to the feelings of others always encouraging gently and she had a delightful sense of humor. Gently Nade with strong sculpture often celebrating aspects of nature in an inciteful repositioning.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends during this time.

Nade was a friend of 31+ years. She was her own person, kind, funny, thoughtful, measured, honest, ethical, so smart, articulate, a good human being all round.
She was loved in our family, and sort of godmother to our son, his friend, teacher, mentor, one of his "aunts." She was unique, and we are so sad .
She leaves a lovely echo. I am sorry you have lost her.
