To Andrew and Nadine's Family,

I'm deeply sorry to hear about her passing. She was truly special and will be missed.

Nadine was a wonderful teacher who always had a smile and words of encouragement for her students. Even after completing my studies at Penn State, she continued to offer advice and support during my graduate career. I'm very sad to hear of her passing. My deepest sympathies go out to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her students as well.

To Andrew, family and friends of Dr. Smith, we are so sorry for your loss - you're in our thoughts.

We would like to offer our most sincere condolences on the passing of Nadine. We did not know her personally but we have a little boy with Type 1 Diabetes and we very much appreciate her professional research efforts toward less painful insulin delivery. She was a wonderful contributor toward a better future for people with diabetes.
