Not sure what to say?

Nadine Wood gave me the great pleasure of helping her with the shopping for the carloads of food that she so ably chose and managed, to give mountains of nourishment and enjoyment to the hundreds of bridge players at the Washington Bridge League's regular sectional tournaments. She was amazing. I will miss her good nature, her wonderful kind and generous spirit. I treasure the memory of her. My best wishes to all of her family and her many other friends.

My Dearest Friend, Nadine
How can I ever express fully my loving thanks for your 71 years of caring, loving, fun-filled, very special moments and events we have shared in our lives together. We began in grade school, with your dear sister, Carolyn and your mother and dad. We continued our journey of “sisterhood” through jr. high, high school, university, and then shared in our wedding ceremonies. Our lives continued to cross with our devoted spouses, Roland and Richard with our...

I am so distressed that I only found out about Nadine's death after her service. Otherwise, I would have been there. I valued her friendship, she was an important mentor to me and a fabulous chef. I will miss her greatly and will always appreciate our time together.

Nadine, great friend, bridge partner and dinner companion. She was a driving force behind the ACBL, Mid-Atlantic Bridge Conference and Washington Bridge League. We will all miss her greatly. Rest in peace.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

The only thing bigger than Nadine's smile and laughter, which filled a room, was her heart. Her generous spirit enriched my life and I will cherish every memory we made together. May her love for life live on in her beautiful and extended family forever.

Nadine, you were the driving force behind the success of the Washington Bridge League and also kept the American Contract Bridge focused as well...you made our events special...we have all appreciated your hard work, sacrifice and dedication...we'll miss you....

Nadine worked harder for bridge at every level and to her the causes were more important than any self gratification.
She was a friend, a bridge partner and made the best crab cakes of anyone that I know.
My heart and thoughts go to her wonderful family, goodbye Nadine.

Nadine,

Thank you for all your work and dedication for the good of bridge and the bridge community. Impressive legacy. You and your joyful company will be missed.
