Not sure what to say?

My heart goes out to the family and friends of this strong, courageous woman. She will be missed.
I read the book she wrote and sent it on to another MS friend. I do hope it helped her.

Nadine, there was nobody like you. I'll never forget your wicked sense of humor, or your laugh. You warned me on a first date with a guy - "Whatever you do - don't go home with him!" You were right, and I'm still married to him, almost 30 years later.
Rest in peace, Nadine. You are irreplaceable.

Nadine was my cousin.Memories of summers with Nadine at Grandma and Grandpa Oberg's fill me. Racing our ponies on dusty roads, cutting tansy, eating Swedish pancakes, drawing plans for a horse farm,Christmas sleigh bells,
Christmas smorgasbords, exchanging gifts. Many years passed(14),as our lives went on,and then I saw Nadine again,in Portland at her home.I was here to assist in her care for a short time, during which she helped me name my new business,Blue Horse Antiques, and shared with me...

I met Nadine when I traveled to Portland in 1998 to visit the Swank MS clinic. A friend of a friend gave me her name and number as I was also a runner/triathlete diagnosed with MS. Nadine invited me into her home and taught me how to be proactive with my disease. I have since learned I was misdiagnosed (mercury toxicity) and have been able to continue running marathons and doing triathlons with no neuro complications or symptoms. If it weren't for Nadine's enouragement to be proactive and...

Nadine was a good person who so enjoyed being a part of the Portland Marathon. I enjoyed talking with her and joking about things Les would do with the marathon. She always made me laugh and I will miss her. May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Les and Anne Marie and the rest of your family. Helen

Nadine was my best friend in grade school. I will never forget summers spent with her swimming, walking, riding horses, and playing outside. She inspired me to take up running at age 50 and feel her spirit lives on when I run. I am so proud to have known her and to be considered her friend. I am so sorry for her family's lose.

Sorry for your loss; she sounds like she was a great woman. I also have MS and am always affected when someone dies from the disease. She was a year younger that me.
