Not sure what to say?

Lottie, Geri, Tisha & Charlie

I was so sorry to hear about your loss and I know how empty you must feel. Nafla was such a remarkable person who enjoyed life and all the challenges it presented.

She was well known for her kindness, generosity and the total commitment to her family. I will never forget the wonderful times we spent together and how she would stand by me, even during the toughest of times. I’m a much better person for knowing her.

I wish it were possible...

Dear Geraldine, Charles, Lottie, Patricia,
How happy I was to have been able to see Nafla (sadly for the last time)four years ago at the wedding of my niece. She was wearing her best smile and reminded me that Max and I still owed her a commission. She felt that if I hadn't been working for her we wouldn't have met, and she was probably right. There are so many wonderful memories of your mom and your family that I'll always keep close to my heart. Ah, the good old days, and the trips to...

I met Nafla many years ago when her grandson, Michael, started dating my sister, Lauren. Nafla was a vivacious and strong woman, a role model to us all. I will always remember her as a witty, wise, and frank woman, with great stories of Alaska, a true Renaissance woman.

Tisha, Charlie, Lottie & Geraldine:
Nafla truly lived the American dream because she was not afraid of going forward and facing the world and all of its challenges with a great faith in her own abilities. She raised five wonderful children and still managed to show the Old Boy’s Club that a woman could be as good at business as they were (even better than a number of them). She will be greatly missed by all who knew her especially her Guadalupe family. Now she can rest with all her...

The one thing I remember most about Nafla were her beautiful bright blue eyes. There was always sparks in her eyes no matter what was happening, who she was mad at, or if she wasn't feeling well. I truely enjoyed talking with her when she lived at Providence Horizon House. I will miss her. My condolences to all her family.

When I first met Nafla 15 years ago as I started dating her grandson Michael I was a bit intimidated, I had never met anyone as frank and forthright. Yet, over the years as I got to know her I soon realized what a kind, loving, and generous person she was. I’m thankful that my husband has been able to have such a strong and positive role model in his life.

So, our Nefla finally went home, so many of her friends were waiting for her 'up there'. She will be missed greatly. I will miss my visits with her at Mary Conrad. Once while visiting her and I had to leave to go pick Raymond up at the hospital, she said, " Oh, just leave him for awhile, he'll be ok." Bless her.

Ms. Nefla was a great woman and her life proves what a person can accomplish with hard work and faith in God. She will be greatly miss.

So sorry to hear of her passing on. She sounded like a real tycoon and obviously was a pioneer in real estate. I now know where Geraldine Estebrook gets all her moxie.
