Not sure what to say?

My main memories of Aunt Nan include watching her bake her delicious cakes and touring her amazing gardens from year to year - some of the best memories from my childhood. She was the first to point out an unusual bird or wildflower. She was loving, kind, quick with a smile and had a very memorable laugh. We lived far apart from the time I was 16, but she was always in my heart and always will be. I will miss hearing your voice Nan! All my love and prayers to Bob, Jan, Pam and Curt.

Nan was the greatest! I always tried to stop and visit with Uncle Bob and Aunt Nan whenever I was in Plainwell. My father and I built their first new house for them! She will/is missed by many!

Nan was beloved by anyone who knew her. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside, which is a lot of beautiful! She has been and will be missed in our community, to which she was so devoted. Her artwork was a tender ortrayal of nature, often with a touch of whimsey. My family owned, lived in, and loved the McLelland home on Miller Road for 12 years following the loss of their daughter, Gail. It was my privelege to enjoy Nan's friendship. Patsy Nyberg

I cannot remember a time in my life when Nancy wasn't "there". She was the type of friend that I didn't see very often due to different locations but every graduating class reunion we would catch up on our lives. I will miss you Nancy. Bob you are in my prayers and thoughts. With love - Joan Adams Nelson

While I did not know Nan personally, she graduated with my husband Lee. When Lee passed away, she wrote me the most beautiful letter talking about him. Something I will never forget. May she rest in peace.

I am sorry to read about Nan's passing. She was a very special lady who touched the hearts of everyone within her reach. Peace to you all.
