Not sure what to say?

I knew Nan when she was the office manager at our small family medicine office in North Seattle. I remember that we went out for a drink on election night in November 2008. What a great night and I loved spending it with Nan!! Later, when she was no longer living in Seattle, I looked forward to her great Christmas letters. Best recommendations for books, movies, music etc.

Nan had such courage in her life. It was my pleasure to know her almost 50 years, receive her poetry, listen to her piano and hear about her struggles and adventures. I will miss her Christmas letter, recommendations of books, movies and music.

Nan and I met in high school. She was voted "most talented female student." I never missed her when she performed. She was like a magnet for intelligent, respectful conversation and lasting friendship. Visiting her, Nan always indulged me with playing Bach on her piano and reading her original poetry. Honest conversations about politics and religion were welcome because Nan, like me, try to live in truth and reality. Knowing Nan, I thus became a financial supporter since the 1990s for...

Nan & I were next door neighbors before Kindergarten. We started Kindergarten together, but then I moved away, but reconnected in high school & then again later in life. We exchanged birthday & Christmas wishes and sign off "your first best friend." R.I.P. first BF. I will miss you!

Nan was an amazingly talented political consultant and she acted as a campaign manager for several local people who tried to turn a very red area blue in a district outside of Albuquerque New Mexico. We co-hosted a group called "Drinking Liberally" in Cedar Crest New Mexico where we provided a forum for local people running for office to tell their story. Nan attended on a regular basis and then the group disbanded in 2020 as a result of covid. We enjoyed knowing Nan and we exchanged...

Growing up next door to the Rush family was such fun... there was always somebody to play with. A favorite activity was singing around the piano with Nan playing and singing beautifully. What wonderful memories. My sincere sympathy to the entire family on the loss of Nan -such a talented and special person I will always remember.

Nan was our next door neighbor growing up, along with her sisters. So sorry and my condolences. The adjectives used in her obituary were beautiful and spot on. I´m so glad she got her wish to go to Spain.

I am so very sorry to hear of Nan´s passing I have known her since we were toddlers. We went to church together & school together from kindergarten through high school. We often played together after school. I will always remember her for her big smile & amazing talent as a piano player! Rest in peace Nan. You will be missed! My condolences to her family!
