We are so sorry to hear about Mrs. Abernathy. She was my son's 4th grade teacher. I don't know if you remember him, but he was a HUGE North Carolina fan at the time. They had quite the rivalry going, especially during the NCAA tournament. She was his favorite teacher. She was a wonderful caring person.
