Not sure what to say?

Cyli, I always thought I'd hear your laugh again. I hope heaven is filled with rivers and old computer games. I'll put the kayak in the water for you this weekend, and maybe crash a program or two.

To Leah and family -- We were sorry to hear about your mom. Someday you'll have to tell us how she became known as the "minnow queen." Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love,

1980-something, I think.

" - there is one more star in the sky, and even though it is far away, its brigthness and warmth still reach us here to make the night a little less dark. Thanks, Nancy."

I'm blinking and hoping that it's not true, because it's all too sudden.

She was a wise soul, she made me laugh and think, and I wish I had known her better.

I never met Cyli in person, but she was an absolutely indispensible part of our online community, and we are the poorer for her absence. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

In honor of my great friend Nancy I put a boat into a river today. I couldn't shake the feeling that Nancy was along for the ride. Especially when I had a chance to get out and walk in the river and chase the minnows.

You made a huge difference in many lives, we won't forget you my friend!

I knew Cyli from online fandom, but her words provided a perfect picture of her wonderful heart. I loved reading her posts. I'm really going to miss her.

'Cyli' taught me more than she or I probably ever realised at the time. Straight talking but always polite and respectful, she won over many hearts and minds in the backwaters of Usenet.

My sincere condolences go to her family and friends.
