I worked with Nancy as part of her interior decorating team when she lived in Huntsville and then later in Birmingham. She was such a sweet person and I'm so sorry that she's gone. She was kind and funny and a joy to work with. When she moved to Birmingham I was in her house and admired a light fixture in the foyer. She said "well, you can have it. I will never forget the dinner that John and Jeffrey arranged and Nancy and where I first met. It was literally love at first sight, and we left that dinner friends for life.
