Nancy Short Barker

Nancy was a wonderful, beautiful lady. As former pastor at Mount Vernon I could always count on her to help. She was also funny and cute, she never met anyone who wasn't immediately a friend.

NANCY WAS A VERY SPECIAL FRIEND OF MINE THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL, WORKING AT HYLTON HALL AND AFTERWARDS. WE HAD SUCH GREAT TIMES TOGETHER. SINCE I MOVED TO N.J. THE CONTACTS HAVE BEEN BY PHONE EXCEPT FOR SOME RARE VISITS TO DANVILLE. THE LAST TIME I TALKED TO HER I HAD TROUBLE LOCATING HER IN THE NURSING HOME BUT WAS DETERMINED NOT TO BE DEFEATED.
