BEAUDETTE, Nancy J. - Of Flint, age 64, died Friday, July 2, 2010 at University Hospitals. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road in Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to ALS of Michigan. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road and 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church. Nancy was born in Flint on June 9, 1946 and was a resident of Flint most of her life. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and the Riverbend Striders Walking Group. She participated in many walking races including the Crim. As the owner of Rainbow Crafts, Nancy crocheted baby blankets, stuffed animals and baby clothes. She operated a day care out of her home for many years. Surviving are her children, Jenean Jones of Flint, Joe Beaudette of Flint, Caroline and husband Jason DeMoines of Carp Lake; three grandchildren, Jacob, Autumn and Zach.
