Not sure what to say?

I think about Nancy often, she was such a character! Incredibly smart and spirited, with a wicked sense of humour! She was a great friend to me when I lived in San Francisco. Reading about how much she packed into her life is inspiring, what a determined and resilient lady she was, and how much fun and adventure she had. Hope you are doing well Rebecca and Bill x

Dear Rebecca & Bill,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother loved you both so much and was very proud of you. She was courageous, wise, sophisticated, and cosmopolitan- such an inspiring spirit! San Francisco will miss Nancy, and so will I.

She was charming, witty, and oh so smart! I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to sit with her twice a month for 5 years on the San Francisco Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board. After the hearings, we often shared a glass of wine and a lot of chatter. Much of that chatter was composed of stories about her kids, about whom she couldn't say enough. She absolutely adored you both. I've missed those days and, miss her, too. Thanks for everything, Nancy!

Rebecca and Bill,

I considered your mother my “third mom” during my 2006-07 San Francisco visits and feel honored to have known such a kind, knowledgeable, and strong woman. She had a remarkable life and left an amazing legacy in you.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Nancy and Mel

Rebecca and Bill, our thoughts and prayers are with you. We have very fond memories of Nancy and all the love she shared with everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed.

Nancy Ho Belli was a rare spirit. I feel honored to have served with her on the San Francisco Landmarks Preservation Board and to work with her on some of her development and restoration projects. She always showed strength of character, and she faced life's challenges with grace. She was a good friend. Dan Reidy
