Not sure what to say?

Nancy's passing is a loss for the City of Portland and the State of Oregon. There is much today's Portlanders could learn from the example she and Paul set as citizens in their adopted city.

It is so sad to hear of Nancy's passing, but it brings a flood of memories of her intelligence, compassion, wisdom and great joi de vivre she shared with everyone around her. She was one of my favorite "Reading Club aunties" whom I treasured and admired, and I'll be ever grateful for having known her. Please let me know if there will be a service. Frey Diack Stearns

So sorry to read this news about Nancy. She and your Dad were the kindest , nicest people. I always looked forward to seeing them, they were such a delight- so caring and thoughtful in always asking about me and my life. They will be surely missed by all that knew them. Sending loving sympathy to their family and friends. Kennedy Wolfe( Higgins)

Thank you, Nancy, for everything. I really can't express or put into words how greatly she touched the lives of everybody she came across. Delivering her New York Times every morning and seeing her was truly a highlight of my day. Whenever she came down to check her mail a crescendo of compliments would come out and truly make me tear up that somebody could think so highly of little ole me. She was one of a kind, I'll never forget Nancy. David, Susan and Peter, I wish you guys nothing but...

The Eusterman and Horton families lived 2 blocks apart in Rochester and were school mates. My physician father and Nancy's regarded each other highly. Please let me know when and where memorial service will be.

I remember the first time I met your mom and dad and all of you at our house when you first came to Reed. My parents always loved your parents so much and Mom always admired your mom. She had accomplished so much in her life yet to meet her you would think you were the most important person in the world! Much love to all of you. Joy (Barta) and Gary Hunt

So moved to read this wonderful account of a life well lived. Sending sincere love and condolences to all of her wonderful family, David, Susan and Peter.
